Speaking in India at Tech-ed

I’ll be in India all next week giving 3 talks at Microsoft Tech-ed in Hyderabad. This is my first trip to India. I have no idea what to expect.

I’ll be giving the following three talks:

  • Welcome to ASP.NET 4.0 – Developing Next Gen Web Applications
  • Developing MVC Based Web Apps using ASP.NET MVC
  • ASP.NET AJAX 4.0

I get to talk about all of the new innovations coming with the next version of ASP.NET Web Forms and ASP.NET AJAX (some exciting new stuff to talk about there). And, I get to do my almost pure code walkthrough of building an ASP.NET MVC application.

@Wahab,
For people outside pakistan, there is a fear that if you go to pakistan, there is no guarantee that you will come back alive!! So people might not prefer to travel there!!
Also the best minds are in India.. Welcome to India Stephen!!!

I had the opportunity to be in Hyderabad a few years ago, It's a very nice experiencie, the city has so many interesting places to visit, make sure you visit secunderabad.

There are no jobs because of immense recession. I don't think how far it would be successful as there is a serious slump in software industry. Any way I wish you a hearty welcome for the Hyderabad and feel proud to be a developer frpm hyderabadi..

Wow, it's great that you are coming to Hyderabad. Do you have any plans to meet any user groups out here, to meet folks who are not attending TechEd? I am sure there are many ASP.NET MVC folks who'd love to have discussions with you.

Well for start you can expect intense heat! This time of the year most of India is at boiling point. Staying within Hotel premises will keep you cool :)

Too bad I couldn't attend TechEd this year (as the information came in real late from Microsoft India).

Welcome to our country :). You might want to know that in India, Guests are considered as Gods!

I attended your session on ASP.NET today. Honored to have someone like you in Hyderabad. I recognised you in the Lobby long before the programme began.
I didn't have the guts to come up and talk. would love to have a photo taken alongside you.
I am a student and new to the ASP platform but I found your talk very informative and inspiring.

I am Vikram (not sure if you remember meeting me at the teched India 2009 after your talks). Your presentation were really good there and I really enjoyed it. Can I have the presentation and the source code for the presentation so that I can pass on the knowledge to more people in my city (Kolkata) and company. it would be really grt to have the source code and presentation to start passing the knowledge to more people here.
